2. Information We Collect
2.1 On the Website (imsk.net)
a) Comments
When you leave a comment on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form — your name, email address, and website URL (if provided) — along with your IP address and browser user-agent string to help with spam detection (via Akismet).
An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you have a profile picture. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/.
After your comment is approved, your profile picture, name, and comment are visible publicly on the site.
b) Cookies (Website)
When you submit a comment, you may opt in to saving your name, email, and website in cookies so that they are pre-filled for your next comment. These cookies last for one year.
If you visit our login page (for site administrators only), a temporary cookie is set to check whether your browser accepts cookies; it contains no personal data and expires when you close your browser.
When an administrator logs in, we save login and screen option cookies. Login cookies last two days; screen options cookies last one year. These cookies are for site administrators only and are not set for regular visitors.
c) Embedded Content from Other Sites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if you had visited those websites directly. Those websites may collect data about you, use cookies, and embed additional third-party tracking.
d) Google Analytics (Website)
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our website. Google Analytics collects data such as:
- Pages visited and time spent
- Approximate geographic location (country/city level, derived from IP)
- Device type, browser, and operating system
- Referring source and exit pages
This data is aggregated and anonymized; we do not use it to identify you personally. Google’s use of your data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
2.2 In Our Mobile Apps
a) No Account or Registration
Mostly our apps do not require you to create an account. Unless mentioned we do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any personal identifier within the app.
b) Google Analytics / Firebase Analytics (Apps)
Our apps use Firebase Analytics (Google) to collect anonymized usage data such as:
- App screens visited and features used
- Session duration and app version
- Device model, OS version, and language
This data is aggregated and is used solely to understand how users engage with the app and to improve features. No personally identifiable information is linked to this data. Firebase’s privacy policy is available at: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
c) Local Push Notifications (Reminders)
Our apps may send you local push notifications for reminders (for example, scheduled learning or activity reminders). These notifications are:
- Generated and stored entirely on your device — no notification content is sent to or processed by our servers.
- Not linked to any personal identity — we do not receive, store, or process your notification data.
You can enable or disable notifications at any time through your device’s notification settings.
d) Payments and Subscriptions (Google Play)
If you purchase a subscription or in-app product, the transaction is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not collect, see, or store your payment card details, billing address, or financial information.
Google Play may share with us a non-reversible purchase token to verify your subscription status. We do not store any personally identifiable payment information. Google Play’s privacy policy applies to all payment transactions: https://policies.google.com/privacy
